I was educated at Kirkby-in-Malhamdale Primary school and then at Skipton Girls’ High School. After a successful degree course at Newcastle University I embarked on a career in teaching. My first post was at Ripon Cathedral School and then as deputy head teacher at Pudsey Greenside, Leeds. Prior to this position I was head teacher at Rathmell C of E Primary School. I am married with two children and am committed to improving pupils learning.

I am originally from Liverpool, but moved to Yorkshire 14 years ago, although I now live in Lancashire. I am married and have three young children, who keep me very busy! I have taught at Hellifield Primary School, as well as working with children with additional needs in many different Primary schools across Craven. I joined Gargrave Primary School in September 2017. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I have worked at Gargrave Primary school since 2006 and prior to that I worked at Lothersdale Primary school, St Philips CE in Nelson and Calversyke Middle School which was in Keighley.  I am married with two sons and we live on a farm!  Before qualifying as a teacher in 1995 I completed a photographic degree and then had a variety of jobs from advertising to catering.  I enjoy painting, walking, spending time with family and friends and holidays!

I moved to Silsden in 2020 from Harrogate. I have been a teacher since 2015. I have worked in schools in Bradford and Harrogate until I had my first child in 2021. My hobbies include cooking, baking and reading. I enjoy spending time with my partner and daughter exploring the Yorkshire dales and beyond.

I started teaching at Gargrave in September 2016. I love reading and sharing books. I have a little boy who keeps me very busy! I enjoy spending time outside, walking and running.

I grew up in Silsden and attended Skipton Girls’ High School. After studying Theology at the University of Edinburgh and Eberhard Karls University of Tuebingen, I paused my career in charity work to become a stay-at-home mum. This was when I discovered my love of teaching which inspired me to re-train to become a Primary School Teacher. I have now been one for approximately 10 years, and I feel very lucky to be able to do something I am so passionate about each day. I moved back to Yorkshire from Leicestershire after Covid, and have enjoyed re-discovering the Dales on walks with my husband and three children. I also love singing and travelling, and use these hobbies as much as possible to spark children’s imagination and curiosity in my classroom.

Having lived around this area until 18, I travelled to Hong Kong where I lived and worked for a number of years.  North Devon was the next 6 years and then back “home” where I married and had two children.  I joined Gargrave School in February 2010, and gained a level 4 diploma in school business management in 2015.  I enjoy gardening, meeting friends, riding my motorbike and walking my dog around the gorgeous area in which we live.

I grew up in Malham and went to school in Skipton. After studying Sport & Recreation Mngt at Staffs University I worked in Leisure & Recreation centres for many years in Kingston upon Thames and Central London. I then moved to New Zealand and managed private swimming schools and spent a lot of time teaching swimming to school age children. More recently, since 2011 I have worked in Events, large Multi-Sport events – I worked for the London Olympics 2012 and the last 3 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014, Gold Coast 2018 & Birmingham 2022 before joining Gargrave school in September 2022 as a TA.

I am originally from Southwest Scotland and moved to Gargrave in September 2022. I studied Politics & International Relations at Edinburgh University. My career has mainly been in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality sector but after moving to Yorkshire for my partners new position, I opted for a career change as a Teaching Assistant. I am currently studying a degree in Primary education, and I am excited for my new chapter! I love to read, go for long walks in our beautiful countryside and spend time with family

I was brought up in Ilkley and attended Ilkley Grammar School.  I moved to Gargrave 20 years ago and I have 3 children all of who attended Gargrave School.  I worked at Gargrave Pre-School before joining the team as Out of School Club leader and MSA.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking our puppy and going to the cinema.

I have worked in a variety of jobs and currently work as a support worker for families in the local area who are or have previously experienced domestic abuse. I am married and we have 3 young daughters who all enjoy taking part in Majorette dancing so I can be found most weekends at a dance competition. I also enjoy going to the theatre with friends.

Originally from Barnoldswick, I went to Gisburn Road Infant/Junior School and later to St Monica’s Convent  in Skipton, I then studied fashion at Bradford College of Art. I have worked in fashion houses in London and later in Leeds and Nottingham. For a 5 yr period I had my own business designing children’s wear and taught fashion and dressmaking at Nelson & Colne College and Lancashire College. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, with another one on the way. Family is important, I love to help and be with them as much as possible.

I spent 10 years in Australia, working for Yachting Australia, then moved to South West Scotland and finally back home to Yorkshire in 2014. I have four children, and I am also very involved in Girl Guiding in the area.

In 2017 after visiting friends in the Yorkshire Dales we fell in love with the area and relocated here. I run my own fabric business and love sewing in my spare time.
